Our Research Consultant, Jai Vipra participated as a civil society representative at the 13th Ministerial Conference of the WTO. Her advocacy efforts along with the Our World Is Not For Sale network were instrumental in ensuring that harmful international agreements on digitalization in agriculture and e-commerce were not finalized. She engaged with negotiating teams of various governments to clarify the potential impact of these agreements. Her original research on the impact of digital trade agreements on AI regulation served as a basis for this advocacy.
