ITfC has prepared a background paper on what it sees as the key issues for the UN - Internet Governance Forum in Rio from November 12th – 15th 2007. The paper highlights four issues that are seen as key from a Southern perspective.

These are:

• 1. Development Agenda in Internet Governance
• 2. Public Domain and the Internet
• 3. Governance of Critical Internet Resources
• 4. Role of the IGF
