
On 21 May 2025, the Centre for Communication Governance (CCG) at NLU Delhi, in partnership with Global Network Initiative and Global Partners Digital, convened a national multi-stakeholder roundtable to deliberate on India’s priorities for the upcoming WSIS+20 review in Geneva (July 2025).
The consultation brought together stakeholders from government, industry, academia, civil society, and the technical community to examine the future of global digital governance and India’s role in shaping a people-centric and inclusive digital order.
Anita Gurumurthy participated in the roundtable, contributing perspectives on structural inequalities in the global digital governance system and the need for stronger public-interest frameworks in the WSIS+20 process.
