Anita Gurumurthy will be taking part in the conference ‘Owning the Future: Sustainably Scaling Platform Cooperatives With the Global South’ hosted by Platform Cooperativism Consortium and the Institute for Technology and Society. The conference will be held from November 4-6 in Brazil. The event aims to address one specific question: How have digital cooperatives scaled their businesses skillfully in agriculture, the care sector, finance, and ride-hailing, among other sectors?
In particular, Anita will speak on the topic ‘Unpacking Digitization, Data Governance, and Cooperatives in India’ on November 6 at 8.15 PM IST.
