The International Labor Organization organized a training workshop on `Strengthening Youth & Women Leadership in Trade Unions in India’ from 11 to 13 April 2023. The event saw the participation of 25 senior trade union leaders who attended eight sessions over the course of three days.
During the workshop, Sonakshi Agarwal led a session on digitalization tools for representatives from central trade unions across India. Through her session, 'Changing World of Work - Digitalization, Workers’ Education, and Trade Unions,' Sonakshi highlighted the evolving labor issues, the global digital turn, evolution of union movements, and the what, why, and how of digital tools.
