Eshani Vaidya will take part in a symposium on ‘Digital Inclusion and Empowerment in India’ being organized by the Policy and Development Advisory Group (PDAG) on 25 July 2023.
The symposium will focus on themes such as, digital inclusion and labor markets, digital literacy and skills facilitating learning and accessing government services, as well as digital wellbeing and mental health with gender being an overarching theme. Additionally, the symposium will aim to gain valuable insights into the challenges faced by marginalized groups and explore strategies for building a more inclusive digital society.
This symposium will be conducted in association with Dr. Ellen Helsper, Professor of Digital Inequalities at the Department of Media and Communications at LSE and the global convenor of DiSTO.
