IT for Change responded to the Open Consultation Process on the WSIS Forum organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). Our inputs focused on how the WSIS+20 Forum High-Level Event should address questions of the digital and data divide, in particular the critical role of democratic governance of the digital as vital to the technological path dependency of global development justice. The WSIS Forum 2024 is scheduled to be held from 13 to 17 March 2024 at the International Conference Centre Geneva (CICG), with the support of remote participation. Virtual sessions will continue in April and May 2024.
