A Southern Agenda for global digital governance

Anita Gurumurthy, Nandini Chami and Amay Korjan from IT for Change, contributed a chapter to a report titled “Future of Global Governance: Perspectives from Global South”. The report was launched by Global Policy Watch ahead of the Summit of the Future to be held on September 22-23 at United Nations Headquarters in New York, with views from developing countries on the key issue of the Summit, the reform of global governance, its rules and institutions. The report highlights the views of diplomats, governments and civil society leaders in their own words, quoting from their interventions in a variety of recent forums.

The chapter elaborates on what a Southern agenda on global digital governance should look like and why it is badly needed.
