Webinar announcement

Speaker:

Malish C. M.
Assistant Professor, Ashank Desai Centre for Policy Studies
IIT Bombay

About the webinar:

Malish C. M. will discuss how the platformisation of digital platforms (in education) is exacerbating three tensions in higher education:

  • individualism versus community
  • independence versus interdependence
  • structure versus flexibility

and legitimising “individualisation of inequalities”.

He will also discuss the larger implications of the platformisation of education on the democratisation of higher education and the need to develop a critical perspective on the  adoption of education technology.
