Business Scenario Planning Consultant
IT for Change is looking for an experienced business consultant to support its work with three social enterprises, building alternative digital platforms across India as part of the project, 'Re-wiring India's Digitalising Economy for Women's Rights and Well-being.' The project is supported by the European Commission and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung.
This consultancy offers an exciting opportunity to contribute towards building and facilitating sustainable livelihoods of informal women workers and farmers. We are currently working with farmer producer companies and cooperatives as well as social enterprises across three partner sites.
Duration: 3 months
Location: The consultant can work remotely, but may be required to travel to project sites in Gujarat, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu for very short periods during the duration of the consultancy.
Scope of consultancy
- Work with the team to scope, design, and execute a business scenario mapping exercise that will take an ecosystem approach to determining future business scenarios and their enabling conditions for each of the partner sites

IT for Change’s field unit, Prakriye, is looking for a highly motivated Narrative Consultant to join our team in Mysore for a 7-day short-term consultancy contract focused on qualitative story documentation. We aim to assess the extent to which our programs have influenced attitude shifts in gender and raised awareness about gender-based violence and the redressals available to women. Our goal is to capture stories of change and qualitative shifts in perception at both the individual and collective levels.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Developing written outputs from research initiatives, including reports, academic articles, media pieces and explainers.

We are looking for a senior, hands-on technology professional to join our team to contribute towards achieving our vision of a just digital society. The work involves conceptualizing, designing and implementing custom IT solutions, and exploring and configuring pre-built Free and Open Source platforms relevant to communities, civil society organizations, as well as public systems and governments.

Primary responsibilities:
