Conference on Social Media and Democracy in the Global South

Deepti Bharthur attended a roundtable event on Social Media and Democracy on 22nd March. The event was organised by CIS in collaboration with Social Science One, and the Kofi Annan Commission on Elections and Democracy in the Digital Age. The conference was on social media and democracy, with particular attention to the Global South, especially focused on social media and the upcoming Indian election.
