Saloni Mishra delivered a presentation on Indigenous Data Rights as part of a praxis course on Digital Sovereignty initiated by Caroline Ledant and team. The presentation drew attention to indigenous data rights within broader debates on data governance and digital sovereignty. It was attended by representatives from a wide range of organisations, including the African Biodiversity Network, African Center for Biosafety, African Food Sovereignty Alliance, Access Agriculture, Pelum Kenya/Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, MOCASE, CommCare, Red de Guardianes de Semillas, FAO, FIAN, Groundswell, GROW, Jamaica Network of Rural Women Producers (JNRWP), A Growing Culture, KOAN, Kenyan Peasant League, LEISA, ROPPA, ESAFF, SAOSO, SID, Stats4SD, NFU and the Rural Women's Assembly.
