Panchasakha Shikhya Setu Sangathan (PSSS) under the Government of Odisha's School and Mass Education Department, in collaboration with IIT Bhubaneswar and Quest Alliance.
Our Senior Program Associate, Reha Sharma, participated as a panellist at Hack to the Future 3.0, the state-level student hackathon organized by Panchasakha Shikhya Setu Sangathan (PSSS) under the Government of Odisha's School and Mass Education Department, in collaboration with IIT Bhubaneswar and Quest Alliance. Held from 19 to 22 May 2026 at IIT Bhubaneswar, the event brought together student teams from government secondary schools across Odisha, who presented technology-enabled solutions to challenges around climate action, digital safety, gender, and accessibility.
Reha was part of the panel discussion on 'Imagining Futures for Learners in the Age of AI and Emerging Technologies', which explored how young people in government school settings can be prepared for futures shaped by AI, what this means for career pathways, and what learning ecosystems need to look like to support that. The panel brought together perspectives from education, policy, and practice, and was a useful opportunity to connect the kind of ground-level, classroom-facing work happening through our programmes like Language Enrichment and Application Program and Pre-Service Teacher Education with wider conversations about technology and the future of learning.
