Anita Gurumurthy took part in the UN Commission on Science and Technology’s (UNCSTD) inter-session panel on 6 November 2023.
The panel addressed the following two priority themes:
• Theme 1: Data for Development
• Theme 2: Global cooperation in science, technology, and innovation for development
The Commission also reviewed the progress made in the implementation of the outcomes of the World Summit on the Information Society during the event. The findings and recommendations of the panel will be considered at the 27th session of the Commission in 2024.
