IT for Change’s Anita Gurumurthy and Nandini Chami contributed a chapter to the book, Global Communication Governance at the Crossroads. The book engages in debates and discussions focused on the current trends and challenges of communication governance, in addition to analyzing relevant actors and technologies shaping policies in the field.
Anita and Nandini's chapter, ‘Justice in the Post-public Sphere: The New Challenge for Global Communication Governance’, talks about how the economy of algorithmic surveillance has taken a place above social interaction in the age of digital capitalism. Introducing three ground norms, the text explores a new roadmap for communicative constitutionalism.
