Anuradha Ganapathy has been invited to take part in a panel discussion on ‘Gender Digital Divide – Impact on Societies and Democracy’ organized by UNDP, India on October 31 at 3 PM IST.
The panel will discuss the emerging signals, insights, and good practices on bridging the gender digital divide and its implication on democracy. In particular, Anuradha will speak on the change that is needed to be brought into India’s digital ecosystem to enhance women’s voice, participation, and mitigate cyber abuses on the internet.
Besides Anuradha, Rajiv Aggarwal, Head of Public Policy for Meta, India; Dennis Curry, Deputy Resident Representative, UNDP, India; Sona Mitra, Principal Economist, IWWAGE; Osama Manzar, Founder and Director, Digital Empowerment Foundation; and Sunaina Kumar, Senior Fellow, ORF will be taking part in the discussion.
