Anita Gurumurthy took part in the 2024 APC Community Gathering organized by the Association for Progressive Communications (APC) on 16 May 2024 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. She participated in an advocacy plenary titled, ‘What is the advocacy that we need to ensure that the internet and digital technologies enable gender justice, environmental justice and digital inclusion for all people?’ In particular, Anita spoke on ‘unpacking the notion of justice, in particular digital justice.’
The goal of the event was for the collective reflection to provide direction and propositions for APC's engagement with advocacy purposes in key processes in 2024 and 2025. Watch the highlights of the event here.
