As part of The Samdhana Institute’s mid-year assessment and reflection process, our Senior Research Associate, Natasha Susan Koshy, represented IT for Change to conduct a training session on digitalization in the context of agrarian and environmental systems, as part of a larger learning session on Digital Futures. The session occurred on 20 July 2024.
At the session, which witnessed participation from 60 members of the institute, Natasha spoke about issues such as the intersections of digitalization with farming practices and agriculture supply chains, means of mapping world agricultural prices against specific local ecosystems so farmers can access higher incomes, and the role of digital technologies in farmer fields.
