Our Executive Director, Anita Gurumurthy participated in the third session of the Fractures Internationalist Teach-ins, organized by the Transnational Institute (TNI) on 14 May 2025. This was part of an eight-week teach-in series where thinkers and activists from across the globe analyze the challenges we face and explore the strategies needed to resist injustice and build a just, sustainable future.
The session that Anita participated in is titled "Do we still live in a neoliberal world?" and sought to explore how the dynamics of capital and class changing and how Big Tech is reshaping capitalism. The other speakers in this session included Quinn Slobodian, author of "Hayek’s Bastards: Race, Gold, IQ and the Capitalism of the Far Right", Daniel Chavez, co-author of "The Future is Public" and coordinator of TNI's Global Green Industrial Policy Lab; and Sofia Scasserra, associate researcher at TNI.
