Anita Gurumurthy represented IT for Change at the International Conference on “Labouring Women: Some Major Concerns at the Current Juncture” organised by the Centre for Informal Sector and Labour Studies, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi from 31st July to 1st August, 2014.

Anita Gurumurthy participated in a panel arranged by UN Women on Gender and Infrastructure during the 8th Annual Conference on Public Policy and Management organized by the Center for Public Policy, at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore in August 13, 2013. She made a presentation on 'ICTs as Infrastructure- Explorations through a gendered prism'.

Nandini.C represented IT for Change on the Panel 'Framing Development Justice' at the 2013 Asia Pacific Regional Consultation with Special Procedures Mandate Holders organised by APWLD, between October 27-29 2013 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. first South Asia Ministerial ITfC participated in the the first South Asia Ministerial Forum (CLICK FOR PROGRAMME AGENDA) in New Delhi on 11-12 Feb 2013. The SAMF organised by UNESCO New Delhi, MHRD and Intel saw the participation of Education Ministers from all the SAARC countries including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka as well as Minster of State from MHRD and Rajasthan and Haryana.

ITfC worked with Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyaan (RMSA), Department of State Educational Research and Training (DSERT), Karnataka, to create a 'Teachers Communities of Learning' through the Subject Teacher Forums, Karnataka in Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences across 34 districts of Karnataka,. The program was based on the extensive and intensive use of public digital resources to build and support teachers networks as well as to  to create a resource rich learning environment in mathematics, science, english and social science subjects.

With support from United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) we made a film titled 'Transforming Teacher Education with Public Software' to convey the core principles of our intervention in the STF. The main idea behind the film is to enable policy makers and administrators of other states in India, and also other countries, to get a clear idea of the principles and processes involved in adopting public educational software in their public education systems.

IT for Change participated in the Annual conference of International Association for Media and Communication Research in the 'Special session on Internet governance: Negotiating profit & politics with Internet freedom' that was held in Durban on 19th July, 2012. Parminder Jeet Singh was invited by the South Centre, the Geneva-based inter-governmental thinktank, to address the developing country diplomats on global Internet-related policies and the appropriate institutional mechanisms for this purpose.
