Anita Gurumurthy took part in "Resisting Big Tech Empires," a day long event organized by Global Justice Now in partnership with the Balanced Economy Project, held at London South Bank University, London, on 25 April 2026.
The event examined how a handful of corporations control the technology shaping our lives (surveilling, monetising, and monopolising at the expense of people and the planet) and explored pathways to reclaim technology as a public good.
