In response to the call for inputs by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), IT for Change made a submission detailing the priorities and expectations from the WSIS +20 happening this year. A high-level meeting will take place in June 2025 to review the overall implementation of the outcomes of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).
Our submission addresses critical challenges in WSIS implementation, highlights emerging digital governance trends, and advocates for updating WSIS action lines to reflect evolving global realities. We also emphasize the need for stronger alignment between the WSIS process, the Pact for the Future, and the Global Digital Compact.
