Azim Premji University
Our Senior Associate, Marzia Ibrahim, was invited to speak at the Annual Summer Course on Teacher Education, conducted under the aegis of TeachTE, a project anchored in the School of Education at Azim Premji University that aims to support the professional development of teacher educators in higher education institutions. This year, the theme was “Weaving Inclusion for Equitable Futures: Threads across School and Teacher Education”.
Marzia’s talk focused on how technology shapes participation, access, voice, and belonging, as well as the exclusions it may produce or reinforce. It went on to discuss some ethical, social, and pedagogical practices that may help us move towards inclusion, including public access, public value, and public control over technology.
