Women's rights in the Information Society – Interviews from Mexico

Three speakers, from the International Forum on Gender, Media, ICTs, and Journalism: 20 years after the Beijing Action Platform, Margaret Gallgher, Lucía Lagunes Huerta, and Anita Gurumurthy were invited for a discussion on the Latin American channel teleSur. In conversation with Laura Carlsen, they spoke on issues surrounding freedom of expression for women, their voices in the media, the contradictions of the digital space and the need for a feminist digital agenda. Anita Gurumurthy also gave an interview to CIMAC Noticias, where she emphasized access to media and technology as an imperative  for women's empowerment.
