Digital Futures Lab, Careful Industries
Anita participated in a workshop ‘Designing for Future Resilience: AI Infrastructures in a Shifting Landscape’ on 15/01/2026 organized by Digital Futures Lab, in collaboration with Careful Industries, supported by Lloyd's Register Foundation. The workshop brought together technologists, policy researchers, and digital rights advocates, employing participatory foresight methods, participants explored the impacts of AI systems on critical social outcomes like equitable healthcare and the expansion of multilingualism. They co-created future scenarios depicting the new possibilities and risks of using AI to achieve these outcomes, as well as the safety and governance measures necessary today and over the next twenty years to fortify the resilience of these systems for the future.
